Annalise is married to actor At Botha and their son Pieter Bosch Botha is following a career in theatre.

She has appeared on stage in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (PACOFS 1978), Die Wonderwerk (1979), Bobaas van die Boendoe (TRUK 1980), Sonder Vlerke (1997), Droom (1998), Vlerkdans (1999), Breek (2001), Windmaker (2004).
She directed Bizzie Lizzie at Aardklop in 2006.
Feature films include: Ouma se Slim Kind (2007); Agter Elke Man (1990); Liewe Hemel, Genis! (1986).
