The Cockney in Corsica is an alternative name given to A Thumping Legacy, a 1843 farce by John Maddison Morton (1811–1891)[1]
This was apparently one of various subtitles, or alternative titles, used for the original title A Thumping Legacy, a flexible usage found not only in England, but also in America and the colonies during the 19th century, notably so in New Zealand and South Africa.
