He visited Cape Town in 1832, and on 12 November performed "for this night only" an Indian Dance during a performance of The Castle Spectre (Lewis) and The Scape Goat (Poole) by the British Amateur Company (under the motto All the World's a Stage) in the Cape Town Theatre, Cape Town on 12 November 1832.
