Past Ten O'clock and a Rainy Night

A farce in two acts by Thomas Dibdin (Thomas John Dibdin, 1771–1841)[1]

Called Past ten O'clock, or A Rainy Night by F.C.L. Bosman (1928), based on the Cape Town programmes.

First performed in the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in 1815. Published by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown, 1815.

Performance history in South Africa

1828:

1837: A production in Cape Town by the English Amateur Company was planned for 11 September, but for a number of reasons postponed a few times and finally performed 18 September, in the Cape Town Theatre, as afterpiece to Bertram, or The Castle of St. Aldobrand‎ (Maturin).
