One Man's Life is a 1997 one-man play written by Deon Opperman. It is about the bitter-sweet rites-of-passage from boy to manhood, presented in a poignant, hilarious and utterly frank way.

Performance history in South Africa
Originally staged by The Independent Performance Trust on The Fringe at the National Arts Festival Fringe in 1997, directed by Opperman, with Eric Nobbs playing the man. This production, with Nobbs, was subsequently performed for years in many venues across South Africa.
