(1968-) Actress, TV presenter and mistress of ceremonies. Singer and dancer.

Biography

Youth

Training

She studied at UCT Drama School (Performance Diploma) for one year and then spent six months at P.A.W.

Career

She started acting professionally at the end of 1986, appesring in two films It's Murphy's Fault and Merchants of War. In TV made her professional debut in South Africa in 1988, working as a TV presenter. For five years she hosted a travel series Bon Voyage, visiting over 36 countries and winning her first award for excellence in television. Numerous TV specials followed including presenting the Miss World Pageant in 1992 and 1994.

In the 1990s she settled in the USA for a while, working in TV, and later moved to London as a base.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

For Pieter Toerien she appeared in Nunsense (Alhambra Theatre, 1988), Whodunnit? (1989) and Lend Me a Tenor (1990).
