There are two plays by the title Eerloos. Both apparently translated and performed in Afrikaans under the same title.

Eerloos ("Without honour") by Ludwig Stroheim
No trace of such a text or author can be found, but a play translated into Afrikaans by A.J.A. Roux from what was presumably a German text by someone billed as "Ludwig Stroheim". This translation was produced in Afrikaans by the Heunis-Rood Geselskap in 1935, as a touring production and by Paul de Groot in the Eendragsaal in Johannesburg in the same year. The original text
First performed in Rotterdam in 1890 (not to be confused with Eerloos by Ludwig Stroheim), and published in in 1892.
Published in Dutch in South Africa by H.A.U.M. in 1940 , Dusseau, 1944, and Van Schaik, 1958. The play was a regular setwork for the Senior Certificate examinations in the 1940s and was one of the best known Dutch dramas in South Africa.
Translations and adaptations
Translated into Afrikaans in 1947 by an unknown translator, for the André Rousseau Theatre Company.
Performance history in South Africa
Premièred in Afrikaans in July 1947, staged by the André Rousseau Theatre Company, directed by André Rousseau, with Marie Viljoen (Emma), André Rousseau (Fritz Halma), Zandberg Jansen (Karel and Antoon), Ria Louw (Anna) and Nico Lombard (Bracht).
