A Moon for the Misbegotten is a play by Eugene O'Neill (1947). The play is a sequel to O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night.

Performance history in South Africa

1960: Produced by NTO in 1960, the same year it was done in London for the first time. The South African production starred Alec Bell.

1992: Duncan, Sandra in `A moon for the misbegotten' [actress of the year] 1992, Sandra Duncan Duncan, Sandra for her performance in `Persona', and as Josie Hogan in `A moon for the misbegotten' [actress of the year]; Michael McCabe as Phil Hogan in `A moon for the misbegotten' [actor of the year];1992.
