Absence of a Cello (sometimes The Absence of a Cello) is a 1964 Broadway comedy written by American screenwriter and novelist Ira Wallach (1913—1995) [1].
Translations and adaptations
In 1968 the play was rewritten, the setting changed to England and the title to Out of the Question and it opened in the West End in October.
