Musical theatre highlights include lead roles in productions of Broadway musicals: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat; The Buddy Holly Story; Evita; Cabaret; Peter Pan; Jesus Christ Superstar as well as South African musicals : Scribble, Antjie Somers and Fiela’s Child - The Musical.

He directed the Rhodes University Drama Department Honours student production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in 1993.
