A series of educational readings offered in the Commercial Exchange, Cape Town by Mr T.P. Hill in 1846, and again in 1849-50, (also offered under the title Novel Literary Entertainments). His programmes included many reading from Shakespeare, Dickens, Sheridan, Knowles, and other writers of poetry and prose.
