Biography

Born in Doornfontein, spent part of his life in the USA.

Contribution to South African Theatre, Film,Media and Performance

In the 1970-1980s he was the leader of the SADF Entertainment Unit's Big Band, and a familiar name on radio.

He wrote and conducted the music for the musical Bo Jungle, to a libretto by the writer/producer Bertha Egnos, in 1959.
