A member of the [[French Dramatic Artistes]] who had arrived from Mauritius as part of an [[Italian Circus]] led by [[Signor Severo]] and [[Dalle Case]] in November 1847. In February 1848  a number of the artists broke away to form a company led by [[Dalle Case]]. [[M. Victor]] is listed as a performer in a number of performances by the [[Dalle Case Company]], ''inter alia'' he is documented as having performed under the direction of [[Dalle Case]] in ''[[De Twee Savoyanen]]'' (14 February 1848, with [[C. Crosset]]); and ''[[The Art of Avoiding to do Military Duty]]'' (13th March, 1848).
 
 
By March 1848 the company had to close due to financial; difficulties and [[L. Victor]]), and two other leading artists ([[C. Crosset]] and  [[X. Hus]]) then formed the [[Theatre de L'Union]] in March 1848, but by the end of September the company had disappeared.

(18**-18**) Circus performer and comic actor. Advertised as "Monsieur Victor... eerste Comediant van den Koninklyken Schouwburg Bruxel" ("first comedian of the Royal Theatre, Brussels"). Also referred to as M. Victor or Monsieur Victor.
