She grew up in Somerset West
Training
She studied Drama at Rhodes University Drama Department since 1998. She had to give up her studies halfway throught her Honours year due to illness.

As a student she worked under the direction of directors such as Andrew Buckland, Gary Gordon, Lindsay Reardon and Reza de Wet in roles that include Hermia in Night Dream, Duysa in Lebed and in We Were Dancing.
She played Sibyl in Private Lives, 2002 and Julie-Ann in Damsels in Distress - RolePlay, 2003.
