DE ROCHA, Natalia. (19*-) Actress, singer and dancer. * Studied at the University of Stellenbosch. * She starred in Movin’ at Sun City in 1987. She starred in Ain’t Misbehavin’ at the André Huguenet Theatre in 1990.
De ROCHA, Natalia, Godspell by Des & Dawn Lindberg, Civic Theatre, Johannesburg & State Theatre, Pretoria, 1985. Natalia Da Rocha is a pioneer South African actress, director, youth activist and businesswoman. She can be remembered as being one of the few persons of colour to appear in entertainment media during the Apartheid-era. In 1981 she was the first Coloured (mixed-race person) to graduate with a Drama degree from the Afrikaans dominant University of Stellenbosch, Department of Drama.
