Training
Studied Drama at the University of Stellenbosch.
Career
In 1961 he became a member of the NTO Youth Drama group. From 1963 onwards he acted on a regular basis for CAPAB, PACT and PACOFS.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He translated A Midsummer Night's Dream into Afrikaans, with the title Somernagdroom; Dagboek van ‘n Waansinnige (Diary of a Madman) by Nikolai Gogol;
He acted in Die Gebreekte Kruik (PACT, 1963); Bart Nel (CAPAB 1972); Die Geldpot in 1980.
He played in the film My Naam is Dingetjie.
