Same Time Next Year is a 1975 comedy play by Bernard Slade. The plot focuses on two people, married to others, who meet for a romantic tryst once a year for two dozen years. The play was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play and won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding New American Play.
First produced in South Africa by Pieter Toerien and Shirley Firth. Production directed by Kim Grant at the Baxter Theatre, 1977, with Ros Drinkwater, Jeremiah Sullivan.
Produced by KBT Productions at the Kalk Bay Theatre May 22 – June 22 2013; directed by Christopher Weare with Paul du Toit and Julie Hartley.
