Judgement by British playwright Barry Collins, (b 1941). For seven years he worked as a journalist before turning playwright in 1971. The one man play, Judgement, was first presented experimentally at the Theatre Royal, Bristol by Peter O'Toole in 1974. Its world premiere followed in 1975 with Colin Blakely. The story relates to an episode of the Second World War when captured Soviet officers were locked in a cellar of a monastery abandoned by German soldiers.

Performed at the National Arts Festival Fringe in 1985, directed by Bobby Heaney, starring Danny Keogh.
