A melodrama in three acts by Jean Guillaume Antoine Cuvelier de Trye (1766-1824). A free translation by Bernard Antoine Fallée into Dutch from the original French text called Dago; ou, Les mendians d'Espagne (1806). (Words by J.G.A. Cuvelier, music by Louis de Moranges and dances by Mr Richard)

Performance history in South Africa
