Ways of Dying, loosely adapted from the novel by Zakes Mda, created ofr the stage by Lara Foot Newton and Catherine Henegan in collaboration with The Company. Produced at the 1999 National Arts Festival with Nomsa Nene, Thami Baleka, Bheki Vilakazi, Nakedi Ribane, Mncedisi Shabangu in the cast. Directed by Lara Foot Newton, scenographer Catherine Henegan, lighting design by Richard Barnes, directorial collaboration and movement specialist Lionel Newton, scenographic collaboration Brian Webber, music collaboration Zenzi Mbuli.
