(17*-18*) Amateur actor. A member of the private Highland Amateur Party of soldiers who performed in the Cape Town Barracks Theatre some time in the 1820s. He played "Billy" in Paul Pry and "Mrs Fixture" in the farce A Roland for an Oliver
