(1928-) Mangosuthu Buthelezi (born 27 August 1928) is a South African Zulu politician who founded the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in 1975. His praise name is Shenge. Chief Minister of KwaZulu, founder of the Inkatha movement and later Minister of the Interior in the ANC-led post-Apartheid government. Also played the role of Zulu chief Chetswayo in the movie Zulu. His mother was Magogo kaDinuzulu (Princess Constance Magogo Sibilile Mantithi Ngangezinye kaDinuzulu, musician and praise-singer.
