Grew up in Landsdowne, Cape Town, attended Wynberg Senior Secondary School and went on to study drama at the [[University of Cape Town Drama Department]]. She also trained as ballet teacher and holds a diploma in Speech and Drama from Trinity College, London. She has worked for a variety of theatrical companies, notably for [[CAPAB]]’s Shakespeare productions and the [[David Kramer]]/[[Taliep Petersen]] musicals. In the 1990s founded her own production company and drama school and has written and produced a number of plays for the company, which goes on tour in the Western Cape. In 2000 she gained huge critical acclaim for her performance as Hester in Fugard’s ''[[Hello and Goodbye]]'' at the [[Baxter Theatre]]. | ||

GEORGE, Nazli (19**-) Actress, dramatist, director and drama teacher.
