As a businessmen he has held numerous positions over the years, including Marketing Manager at Chet Chemicals & Retailer Brands, CEO at Going Places Travel & Accomodation, owner of Luis Foods at Good Value Foods, PRO for President Hotel Sea Point, Elizabeth Hotel Sea Point, Century Hotel Sea Point, Manager of Braustrubell Restaurant at the Elizabeth Hotel, part owner Harbour Tavern in Mouille Point, marketing director of Aviv Foods, a partner in Carvel Ice Cream franchise in South Africa with 5 stores and marketing manager of Snowcrest Foods in London.
Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance
Partner in Sybil Summers Agency and owner of Theatrical Corporation of South Africa (Johannesburg & Cape Town: 1969 – 2011). This involved acting as the Publicist for all Ronnie Quibell's shows with overseas artists, for all Ster Films , for Hymie Udwin's Academy Theatre, as well as working for CAPAB and various overseas ballet companies as a props manager. Was head publicist for Marge Chase's Ice Shows. Publicist for the Rainbow Theatre in Rhodesia.
