Son of Man is a 2006 film created by Mark Dornford-May and the Isango Ensemble.
One man’s journey of love, deception and betrayal in contemporary South Africa. Based on the New Testament. Awarded LA Pan African Film Festival, Best Feature, Traverse City Film Festival – Founders Award, Sundance Film Festival – Grand Jury Prize nomination “World Cinema”, BFI London Film Festival – Official Selection, River Run International Film Festival – Best Director, San Francisco Black Film Festival – Winner “Best World Cinema”.
