In Waltz Time is a one-act play by Philip Johnson (1900-1984)[1]


The original text

A short play set in Miss Charlotte Brighte's house in the village of Lushe, one summer's morning about a year after the battle of Waterloo.

Published as a French's Acting Edition in 1941.

A copy of a typed text of the play was found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
