The Spotlight Theatre company was founded byCecilia Sonnenberg and René Ahrenson.
Not to be confused with the company called Spotlight Youth Theatre
The company
Its first production was The Taming of the Shrew at Maynardville in February 1956 (Leslie French).
During the Second World War they did numerous play readings in the Electricity House Theatre in Strand Street, Cape Town.
