Biography

He was born on 16 August 1975 in Cape Town, South Africa.


Training

He attended the art school Die Kruin in Johannesburg and studied visual arts at the Witwatersrand Technikon.


Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Corné in The Most Amazing Show (television).

The Bestman's Speech written and acted by Louw Venter, directed by Rob van Vuuren, Obz Café Theatre, September 2006.

He directed History of Cape Town - Abridged in 2007.

Gary the Tooth Fairy performed by Louw Venter and Bev Cullinan, directed by Rob van Vuuren and presented during the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown in July 2010.

Hond se Gedagte 2016.

2024: Albatros, at the Woordfees, Stellenbosch.

He had a lead role in the SABC2 drama series Swartwater. He also wrote the filmscript for Som van Trane.
