Industrial theatre is a form of applied theatre that evolved in South Africa in the 1980s.
An international (though unrelated) variant of Industrial theatre is what has been called the Industrial musical, described by Wikipedia as "a musical performed internally for the employees or shareholders of a business to create a feeling of being part of a team, to entertain, and/or to educate and motivate the management and salespeople to improve sales and profits."[1].
