Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang, is an American comedy dealing with relationships and complexes which, although humorous, ring disturbingly true in a modern society anywhere. First produced off Broadway in January 1981.
Performance history in South Africa
1985: Localised and set in Johannesburg, the play was presented by Technikon Pretoria at the National Arts Festival Student Drama, 1985, directed by Willie Fritz. Art director Mark Stevens, sound by Susan Danford. The cast: Clive Morris, Fiona Coyne, Adrian Waldron, Siobhan Harrison, Pierre Perrold, René Tredoux.
1992: Produced by PACT, directed by Michael Richard, at the Alexander and Arena Theatres starring, among others, David Clatworthy.
