The Butcher Brothers is a play conceptualised by Daniel Buckland.
Performance history in South Africa
2010: Directed by Sylvaine Strike and Daniel Buckland, with design by Roger Lambert (props), Daniel Buckland (masks) and Wesley Deintjie (lighting), and performed by Jacques Da Silva and Mongi Mthombeni. Presented by Dark Laugh Theatre productions. NAF 2010. The production was presented at the Joburg Arts Alive Festival and subsequently at the Hilton Arts Festival in September.
Winner of the 2010 Naledi Award: Production cutting edge as well as the 2010 Ovation Award, category Physical Theatre.
