The original text

A play about shadowy characters that frequent a Hillbrow brothel owned by Mubara, a Nigerian immigrant.

Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

2004: Performed in The Arena at the State Theatre, Pretoria, directed by Mpumelelo Paul Grootboom, starring Siyabonga Thwala as the Nigerian brothel owner "Mubara".

2005: Performed at the Market Theatre, directed by Lara Foot Newton with Mpumelelo Paul Grootboom.
