Thulani Mtshali (19*-). Playwright.
In some sources, referred to as Thulani Sifeni or Thulani Sifeni Mtshali.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
A founding member of and wrote for Bachaki Theatre since its inception in 1987.
Plays include Golden Gloves (1991), Devil’s Den (1995) and Weemen (performed 1996, published 1999).
He worked as co-ordinator for Acumda.
His work is included in Black South African Women: An Anthology of Plays by Kathy Perkins, 1999.
Appeared in the play Prison Walls.
He also conducted drama workshops at several universities in England and recited poetry at various political functions in London with South African poet, artist and lecturer Pitika Ntuli.
