(19**-) Renowned Indian dancer who visited South Africa to play in Rabindranath Tagore’s King of the Dark Chamber in 1961. Union Artists brought the Indian director Krishna Shah to mount this production which also starred Surya Kumari and opened in Durban before playing at the Wits University Great Hall.
