The original text
Written in 1929 during the Vaudeville era, the comedy takes place at a boarding house where two boarders and practical jokers, Jones and Miss Brown, tell each of the guests at their boarding house that a wealthy visitor, Mr. Long, is greatly interested in their individual hobbies. Long on the other hand is told the house is an insane asylum. Chaos ensues.[1]
Published by W.H. Baker, 1957, and later reprinted in the series Baker's Plays by Samuel French, Inc. in 2011.
