Oklahoma! by Rogers and Hammerstein. First produced at the St James Theatre New York in 1943. First produced in South Africa at His Majesty’s in 1948, brought out by ACT, with Bob Lyon and La Verne Burden. Choreographed by Agnes De Mille. Produced again by Joan Brickhill and Louis Burke in Durban(?*)in 1963/4, and at the invitation of Roy Cooke staged at the Alexander Theatre as well.
