Originally titled ''[[Mamma het Planne]]'', it is a one-act play by [[Gerhard J. Beukes]] (1913 - 1998), about parents desperately trying to get their daughter married.
 
 
 
First published as ''[[Mamma het Planne]]'' in the anthology ''[[Kerse Teen die Wind: Tien Eenbedrywe]]'' by [[J.L. van Schaik]] (1950). Later published as ''[[Die Nôientjie het Planne!]]'' in the collection ''[[Die Nôientjie het Planne! Vier Ligte Eenakters]]'' (1969) and in ''[['n Lag en 'n Traan]]'' (1988), both by [[J.L. van Schaik]].
