Les Chaises by Eugène Ionesco (1952). Immensely popular absurdist play about non-communication. Translated into English as The Chairs by Richard Daneel and directed by him for the NTO Kamertoneel in 1959. Translated into Afrikaans as Die Stoele by Uys Krige/Bartho Smit/Andre P Brink??***, it was produced by ** in 19**.
