Tussen Twee Treine ("Between Two Trains") is a short one act play by Hennie Aucamp.

The original text

The text was first published in Tydskrif vir Letterkunde, New Series 7(3):9-12, 1969. Later included in collection Die Hartseerwals: Verhale en sketse ( Published in 1965 in Johannesburg by Afrikaanse Pers-boekhandel).

Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

1970: Performed in March by the Libertas Teaterklub as part of a production called Hennie Aucamp: Kortverhale en Eenakters ("Hennie Aucamp: Short Stories and One-acts"), directed by Marie van Heerden in the Libertas Theatre. The cast of Tussen Twee Treine consisted of Juanita Swanepoel as "Sy" ("She") and Johann van Heerden as "Hy" ("He").
