The original text
Marita van der Vyver's novel Vergenoeg was adapted for the stage by Alexa Strachan, with music by Herman van den Berg.
A daughter looks after het dying mother, with the help of some alcohol and lots af make-up. The human and timeless story is told with pathos and humour.
Performance history in South Africa
2011: Performed at the Woordfees in Stellenbosch, directed by André Odendaal, with Sandra Prinsloo, Milan Murray and Alexa Strachan. Woordfees, 2011.
