Born on 20 November 1908 in Ilfracombe, Devon
He appeared in a number of films and was a commentator for British Movietone News.
He passed away on 29 September 1989 on Alderney in the Channel Islands.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He starred in The Jockey Club Stakes (1971-1972) at the Academy Theatre and in There Goes the Bride and Doctor on the Boil, directed by Rex Garner, also at the Academy Theatre in 1979.
