Sydney Witkin' (19*-) was an actor

Biography

Born in South Africa, the brother to Alec “Afrique” Witkin, he was married to Minna Schneier.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He became a member of The Reps.

Performed in American playwright Robert Ardrey’s Thunder Rock. Performed in The Flashing Stream in 1943 directed by Muriel Alexander with Minna Schneier and in The Searching Wind (1945). Other roles were in Counsellor-at-Law, They Came to a City, The Coral King.
