(Con) de Villiers, who later translated it into Afrikaans as Boumeester Solness. The Afrikaans version was the first production of the Ons Teatertjie-toneelgroep (later Volksteater) in Pretoria in October 1935, directed by Leoni Pienaar. (Also done by Die Handhawerstoneelgeselskap in Bloemfontein in 1938) Done in English by NTO in 1957. A later Afrikaans translation by ** was done by Pact??"** and published by ** in 19**.
