Afspraak ("appointment") is the title of a play by Jan Scholtz.
Original text
The stage text is based on Jan Scholtz's own film script entitled 'n Familiesaak ("a family matter"). No evidence has yet been found of the script having been filmed, nor has it been published. A photocopy of the typed script is currently held in the ESAT archives.
Adaptations and translations
Adapted as a stage play called Afspraak and credited to Scholtz in the publicity for the first performances at two festivals in 2009.
Performances
2009: Performed as Afspraak at the Vryfees in Bloemfontein and the Aardklop festival in Potchefstroom, directed by Paul Eilers with Stian Bam, Deon Lotz, Antoinette Louw, Erica Wessels and Nicole Adams.
