Ἰφιγένεια ἐν Αὐλίδι ("Iphigenia in Aulis") is a Greek tragedy by Euripides.
The Romanized form of the Greek title reads Īphigéneia en Aulídi, and it is often referred to simply as Iphigenia (in English) or Iphigeneia (in Dutch and Afrikaans, as in the original Greek).
Related to but not to be confused with Euripides's other play, (Iphigenia in Tauris)

Performance history in South Africa
1963: Performed in English as Iphigenia in Aulis, directed by Costis Michaelides, starring Aleka Katselis, Maria Moscholiou and Costas Kazakos. Staged in 1963 from 15 May to 1 June 1963 at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre and the ** in Cape Town by the Athens Drama Company which Leon Gluckman had brought out to tour South Africa and Rhodesia. Directed by Costis Michaelides, starring Aleka Katselis, Maria Moscholiou and Costas Kazakos among others.
1964: The Afrikaans translation presented by Universiteitsteater Stellenbosch in the Hollandse Saal, Stellenbosch.
