Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
His reviews of theatre productions were published in various South African newspapers and journals. In 1965, when he was theatre critic of The Star, he was banned from the Brooke Theatre. A letter to that effect was placed in every programme bought by patrons at the theatre. The letter refers to some of Mr Walker's past criticisms of South African actresses that were not constructive.
