A celebration of the visionary leader Nelson Mandela and his involvement in the South African struggle for liberation, originally written in French, the book, music and lyrics by Jean-Pierre Hadida and Alicia Sebrien.
First produced in 2016.
Adapted into English as Madiba, The Musical by Dylan Hadida and Dennis watkins
The English version was first directed by Pierre-Yves Duchesne, with Dennis Watkins as associate director. Musical direction by Michael Tyack and choreography by Johan Nus
A recording of the soundtrack was also released in 2016.
