She may have been the same Miss Cathcart who performed for Gustavus E. Brooke on a visit stop-over in Cape Town in the 1850s.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She is named as an occasional performer for the Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company, run by Thomas Brazier, active in Cape Town between 1869 and 1871.
