Miss Berenger (fl 1840s-70s)[] was an actress

Her name spelled in various ways.

Not to be confused with Esme Beringer (1875–1972)[1], an English actress who was noted for her fencing skills.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She was a member of Disney Roebuck's company, joining them in Port Elizabeth in May, 1874 as a leading lady.
