Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
In the years 1876-1883 he was a member of and actor for the Kamer de Eendracht ("chamber of unity") in Cape Town, a society bearing the motto "Door Oefening wordt de kunst verkregen" ("art is attained through practice").
